Our holiday table was never complete without a pecan pie. I still have my grandmother's handwritten recipe. I used that old recipe as a jumping off point, then added chocolate and a hint of bourbon. I hope this version becomes a new holiday tradition!

Leigh Niles Reason honed her baking skills in her grandmother's Alabama kitchen, eventually working in recipe development for various websites, including Cooking.com. She launched Tiny & Gin, named after her grandmother and daughter, in the fall of 2015.
